With empowerment at the heart of its mission, Danone Ecosystem has placed great emphasis on measuring impact.
Quantifying impact is no easy task; while many methodologies have emerged, there is no global consensus on how best to measure social impact. Faced with this challenge, Danone Ecosystem worked with experts to develop its own Professional Empowerment Methodology, based on our mission and activities, and building on the work of international and academic organizations. We use this methodology to report on our impact on a bi-annual basis.
To better understand our qualitative impact, we partnered with experts from a number of academic institutions. These experts visited and studied our projects; highlighted what worked and what did not; and helped us draw out lessons.
