« This program will be using the potential that lies within the local community. Community will be involved and have active roles in participating and supporting the program. This involvement will be starting from planning to monitoring the program. Various members of the surrounding community will also benefit from the program by providing healthy products to the shops (wholesalers, farmers, fishermen…). The community will have strong sense of ownership towards the program and hopefully they will maintain it. »

Malnutrition is still a key issue in Indonesia ; affecting strongly children of low income families in remote areas bc of => low accessibility of affordable & nutritious food product as well as absence of mother education towards nutrition of their child…

We launched "Warung Anak Sehat" = healthy children kiosks in remote areas. It is operated by women active in local health care centers. They get trainings about business and nutrition. Thanks to micro-credits, they open or renovate small kiosks where mothers can come to get information toward balanced nutrition of their child and buy healthy & affordable food products.

Objectives => educate mothers about children nutrition in remote areas, help them compose balanced daily menus, give them access to healthy & affordable food products
