5 Years Anniversary Event


Already 5 years that we are working together for a more inclusive society!

On the October 8th and 9th 2015, the Danone Ecosystem Fund celebrated its “5 Years Anniversary” gathering, for the first time, its worldwide community.

2 days to connect, share, celebrate & foster transformation


274 participants from the public, private, academic, solidarity-based and media sectors participated to the event.
20 inspiring guest-speakers from diverse backgrounds expressed themselves…
60 projects were presented on our marketplace.
140 000 people were reached on social media.

The 2015’s year was very important for the Ecosystem Fund as it was time to present and share the achievements and learnings from the past 5 years and to thank those who made it possible.

Olga Duda is dietitian-nutrition educator for the Polish “Eating healthy, growing healthy” project and Antonio Almeida is waste-picker with the Brazilian “Novo Ciclo” project.




  • 2 workshops to co-create solutions to the remaining challenges

Workshop1300 brains co-creating solutions together worth a lot better than one brain! The learnings and best practices shared during the first workshop have been formalized in a booklet: “ONE Challenge, let’s co-create ONE solution”, you can download it HERE.

The second workshop was dealing about the strengths and challenges of the Fund and on how to manage our future challenges. It has been full of ideas, projects and


connections that will help us engage in the preparation of the future transformations of our organizations.


  • 2 market-places to foster cross-fertilization.

These market-places were animated by the project team of our 60 projects. It was an inspiring moment that has stimulated cluster cross-fertilization and fostered connection.


  • 3 Awards to foster recognition

“Women Empowerment Award”

Social School for Women Empowerment: This distribution project has been co-created by Danone Spain and the Ana Bella Foundation. Ana Bella was participating at this event and gave us an inspiring speech while received this award.
